UI/UX Designer - Mumbai location
Summary:
As a UI/UX Designer at QuickSell, you will be an integral part of our fast-paced startup environment, responsible for creating rapid prototypes and designing intuitive user interfaces. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and developers, to quickly iterate and refine designs based on user feedback. This position requires a proven track record in designing successful mobile apps and e-commerce platforms, exceptional design skills, and a deep understanding of user behavior and market trends.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand project goals, user requirements, and business objectives.
Design highly intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for mobile applications, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience.
Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for mobile apps and e-commerce websites.
Conduct user research, usability testing, and analyze user feedback to inform design decisions and iterate on designs.
Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI pattern libraries to ensure consistency across different platforms and devices.
Optimize user flows, conversion funnels, and checkout processes to maximize user engagement and improve conversion rates on the e-commerce website.
Collaborate with the development team to ensure accurate implementation of designs and provide guidance throughout the development process.
Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in mobile app design and e-commerce UX.
Continuously monitor and analyze user behavior, market trends, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Present design concepts, ideas, and solutions to stakeholders and gather feedback for further refinement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Graphic Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or related disciplines). A Master's degree is a plus.
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a UI/UX Designer, with a focus on mobile app design and e-commerce UX.
Proven experience in designing successful mobile applications used by a large user base.
Strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in mobile app design and e-commerce UX, including examples of user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs.
Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma.
Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, mobile app design guidelines (iOS and Android), and e-commerce best practices.
Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and incorporating user feedback into design iterations.
Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail, typography, and color theory.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
